| A Child-centered, Holistic Approach
Our teachers and staff are guided by the Montessori curriculum. Spirit of Hope Montessori School is a child centered environment that respects each child and their unique characteristics. We pride ourselves on a low student to teacher ratio. Our teachers develop age-appropriate activities that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills while making learning a life long skill.
In addition to the ‘basics’, we offer students a range of gross motor and creative opportunities including weekly music classes, art workshops, Spanish, and daily yoga. We strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom including geography, zoology, botany, history, and science. Each year our students take an in-house field trip to the petting zoo.
Family activities, singing performances, and holiday potlucks have always been something we look forward to. We offer resources for parents interested in reading about Montessori and to better understand the Montessori philosophy to support their children’s development at home and in school.
